We're here today with some additional updates about Legend In The Mist and related projects!
Fulfillment Update
Fulfillment is now by and large complete. Our partner in Australia has shipped the last wave of packages and tracking information was sent to backers. We also released LitM items to backers who have been waiting for City of Mist or :Otherscape items. However, there are still a final few who have not yet received their items; we will be sending them personal emails with details and updates by the end of the week. MacDaire's Journal - Our New Patreon With Weekly Legend In The Mist Content!
One clear item of feedback we received from the Son of Oak Community Survey we sent last month was that there is a great deal of interest in a regular drip of Mist Engine content. More than 55% of people said they would consider joining a Patreon - so we launched MacDaire's Journal - and it's already a hit!
This new channel let's you enjoy regular content drops throughout the year instead of once a year with a new book. Here's what you can get there:
Free and member content (you don't have to be a paid member to enjoy the Patreon)
Every Monday: a new playable content item such as theme kits, Challenges, Journeys, Ways of Magic, recipes and rotes, etc. (similar to the Peddler's Cart)
Every Wednesday: a journal entry of Wayfarers, my solo game in the Hearts of Ravensdale setting featuring Gorna, Truffles, and Mistle of Salthill from the Character Pack
Every other Friday: a behind-the-scenes look into the development work for upcoming Son of Oak projects accompanied by Alejandra's sketches. We've already talked about Hearts of Ravensdale II and City of Mist 2!

Herd of Horns
DINOSAURS! Chris Gunning, one of the original City of Mist writers, just launched his Kickstarter for Herd of Horns, a dinosaur TTRPG which will get a Legend In The Mist conversion by :Otherscape writer and Cauldron of Mist superstar MephitJames (Colin Wilson). Legend In The Mist is just starting its journey in the world and we have a lot more content to share with you including Hearts of Ravensdale II, Humblewood In The Mist, and other genres using the revised Mist Engine, like City of Mist 2 which will include support for multiple modern-age genres. Fulfillment Is Wrapping Up + Six ENnie Awards!!

Hello there companions!
Our epic journey is all but completed, but the adventure is just beginning! Here are the latest updates from Legend In The Mist and Son of Oak:
Fulfillment Status
Here is a quick update on shipping status:
United States: Fulfillment completed in July. New Art Cards will be printed on our next print run and shipped to Thaumaturge Collector backers in the US (where unfortunately the warehouse lost all the Art Cards).
Canada: All tracking numbers and packages were sent out.
Europe: All tracking numbers were sent out, with packages to follow tomorrow and next week. There are a few exceptions for orders that include out-of-stock items from other games (we will reach out to those backers with solutions next week).
United Kingdom: All orders are processing, about 25% of tracking numbers were sent out, and will continue to be sent tomorrow and next week.
Australia, New Zealand, and Far East: Our partner down under received all orders and is planned to ship them out next week.
Other countries: Either have already shipped from the US, or will ship from above locations.

Damaged Items? Our partner has an excellent rate of safely delivered packages (over 98.5%). However, if your items are damaged in transit, don't fret - we will replace them. Take pictures of the damaged package and damaged items and send them to [email protected] .

Next Crowdfunding Project
As Legend In The Mist is finally finishing fulfillment, and Cairo:Otherscape content is nearing digital release, we begin to consider what's next. We already announced on various channels our intention to crowdfund Humblewood In The Mist as well as City of Mist II. On our next update, we will send out a community survey about what you'd like to see coming to the Mist Engine next.
MacDaire's Journal
Following the success of the Peddler's Cart (the PDF collection of Legend In The Mist items shared during LaunchFest), we're exploring the possibility of publishing weekly items for the Legend In The Mist community as well as exclusive content from yours truly, such as lore and content previews from Hearts of Ravensdale II, solo game logs, and design diaries. This would be shared on a newly launched Patreon from Son of Oak. Let us know your thoughts and suggestions in the comments.
Hearts of Ravensdale II
Though we do not yet have a set date for this, I'm personally chomping at the bit to get started with the next installment of the Hearts of Ravensdale campaign and setting. This book will explore the lands adjacent to the Dales such as the Wanderlands, the Shiverwash Swamps, and the Witchwood, and continue the epic journey started in Wake Of The Oldways as the Heroes trace the steps of the Great Thaumaturges of old. So, while it's not planned for the immediate future, it's definitely high on my list.

Digital and US Fulfillment Completed, Delays With International Shipping , and GenCon!

Hello there companions,
Our journey is nearing its very end, but there are still some steps to take. Let's go over the latest developments.
Fulfillment Update
✅Digital - Completed
Digital Fulfillment for final digital rewards - the Soundtrack and the Foundry modules - has been completed. If you did not receive either, reach out to us at [email protected] so we can get them to you!
The final digital element, Alchemy VTT support, is being developed by the Alchemy team, who will be providing updates as they progress. As of now, the ingestion of Legend In the Mist books into Alchemy is in progress, but system support is still pending.
✅US Print - Completed
Fulfillment in the United States has been also completed. If you are in the US and still have not received the physical items you pledged for, reach out to [email protected] so we can get them to you ASAP.
🔄Rest of World Print - In Progress, Some Delays
Fulfillment elsewhere has been delayed from the planned mid-July date due to (1) slower production of the dust jackets (in EU and UK), (2) longer transit times (in Australia), and (3) slower customs clearance process (in Canada) than anticipated.
Learning from mistakes in the US, we will also take a few extra days to work with the fulfillment partner and ensure a more organized and controlled fulfillment, making sure all backers get their items shipped before any other order goes out.
All in all, this will likely mean shipping and tracking notifications for backers in these regions will start going out in mid-August (2nd and 3rd week of August).
We apologize again for these delays and as always we appreciate your continued patience. We had a few snafus, but we're working around them and getting your items to you, with some extra book covers on the way. The good news is that, judging by the US folk reaction to their packages, you're in for a real treat and you'll love what's coming your way.
GenCon
We're heading over to GenCon next week, and for the first time ever, have a booth with our friends at Hit Point Press! If you're attending, please come and say hello - it's booth 2748 - we'd love to meet you. You'd be able to meet yours truly (Amit), MC Kevin Carpenter, and our events manager Andrea Batten, who will be orchestrating a slew of Legend In The Mist demo games. There will also be a panel about the creative direction of Legend In the Mist in which Lead Artist Alejandra Pinal will join us remotely.
Most importantly, as you know, Legend In The Mist is nominated for 7 ENnie awards, and the winners will be announced during the ENnies awards ceremony on Friday July 31st. The event will be live streamed so check it out on the ENnies website. Wish us luck!

A quick shipping update and then we'll get to the awards: As of right now, all but 42 US packages (less than 1%) have been shipped and these last few should go out on Monday. We apologize for the delays, as explained on our last update. All other locations including EU, UK, Canada, and Australia are set to ship between now and the end of the month, as we await the alternate cover dust jackets to reach the warehouses. Final Digital Rewards Next Week
We're here with an update about shipping, but before we dive into it, I'd like to mention the two final digital rewards that are coming next week: the Soundtrack and the Foundry VTT modules (Core Book, Hearts of Ravensdale, Character Pack, and Maps & Tokens)! General Shipping Reminders
As always, for any issues with your specific pledge or package, please *message* us on Kickstarter or email us at [email protected] .
We cannot answer order-specific questions via Kickstarter comments. Please use comments for general chat, but use messages/emails for support requests.

US Shipping Delays
We've had a slow and rocky start to shipping in the US, but it's finally on track after working closely with our fulfillment partner, ShipBob. Currently, 80% of the packages have already been sent or are ready to be picked up, which leaves 20% that will trickle out over next week.
The causes for the delays were multiple, but have since been resolved:
Initially, waiting for the dust jacket shipment to arrive
Misplaced Art Cards led to Thaumaturge tier pledges to be held back (more on that below)
Miscommunication between us and fulfillment partner about the sheer volume of project (it was communicated, but there were some protocol issues with how it was communicated)
Seasonal delays around July 4th (this week and next)
Issues with manually updating tracking codes on BackerKit
Other than the seasonal delays, these issues have all been resolved and so we expect the last packages to be shipped out next week.
Our Apologies: Art Cards Are Further Delayed
Alas, our US partner has misplaced the Art Cards. Since this is just one box in three shipping containers of game books and accessories, it's unfortunately not unheard of or terribly unreasonable. They are looking for it, but for the time being we decided to release the shipments of Thaumaturge Collector Set pledge level backers without the Art Cards to avoid any further delays, and so that our most generous backers could at least start enjoying all the other goodies in that incredible package. Either the Art Cards will be located or we will have to reprint them, and then send them to you at a later date.
Other Shipping Delays
Canada and Australia were supposed to start shipping yesterday, but are still awaiting their respective dust jackets shipments. In Canada, the books have not yet cleared customs for some reason, possibly also due to Canada Day holiday. They will join Europe and the UK for an estimated July 15th shipping start date.
The Bright Side
It's never great to have to wait longer for a game you've already been waiting for for so long, but the good news is that the books are on their way, and soon. Given the size of this fulfillment project (between his Kickstarter, preorders, and LaunchFest), it's natural to have some hiccups, but please know that we are closely working with our fulfillment partners to get the game in your hands as soon as possible.
